Brief Description about the Client & scope of work

- The position is open in a Genpact team, supporting a Global FInancial Advisory arm of a large investment bank. The client provides impartial, expert advisory and execution services to corporations, governments, institutions and individuals. It also delivers advice with discretion, integrity & insight, in the areas of M&A and strategic advisory & financing advisory.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed & short form company profiles and industry reviews as required by the bankers

- Sectoral reserach

- Buyer/ Target origination

- Analysing trends in sub-sectors specific to where target is operating

- Conducting operational and financial benchmarking

- Prepare comparables analysis (Trading / Transaction)

- Delivery and updates of internal newsletters

- On demand presentation and research work

Required Background

- The candidate should have at least 4+ years of experience in the fields of investment banking, investment research, private equity, consulting in Automotive, Transport & Infrastructure, Utilities Sector with experience in research and analysis of Investment Banking/Financial Research projects:

Industry Study/ Thematic

Company Profiles

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent PPT, Word & Excel skills

- Working knowledge of secondary databases such as Thomson, Capital IQ, Factset, Factiva etc.

- Post-Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification

The candidate should have worked on any of the below mentioned sectors for atleast 3+ years during his career in -

- Automotive

- Transport & Infrastructure

- Utilities
