What is expected from you

- Using your proven abilities in relationship/enterprise/technology services sales to build marketing channels for lead generation that are sustainable, predictable and growing.

- Learning to set up a sales team or expanding business in a new geography.

- Selling what you've never sold before.

- Building relationships and partnerships.

- Working with all kinds of people.

- Hunting and closing deals for all kinds of technology services or products.

- Ensuring quality of things we build.

- Making sure we build new things, things that will be used.

Don't apply if you don't have at least one story to tell us about a league-table sale.

- Differentiating between good and bad revenue.

- Knowing what's what in technology and how it's being used by consumers and businesses.

- Regularly blogging about and sharing what you've learned.

The Genii Way

Working at Genii comes with a lot of freedom, but there is a price that we would like to be clear about at this stage. Your job goes well beyond being good at a specific role.

Your growth as an individual is not an option you have.

Your comfort with multiple languages will always be secondary to your ability to learn new ones.

Your ability to blow our mind with your theory on astrophysics or politics will stand you in better stead than your distinction in the 10th standard.

Your job at Genii will include throwing parties, contributing to office decor, helping us find the best blend of coffee, or settling the DOTA vs AOE disputes that constantly arise.

Apart from this you need to be coding / designing / learning / selling / etc at a level higher than most comfortable jobs bigger companies offer.

We are not going to be a comfortable job because some of the best work comes outside people's comfort zones.

Here, we offer long hours, strenuous deadlines, massive expectations and maybe some money on the side.
