Purpose Of This Role :   - To effectively handle all the HR/ IR and External Relations related activities in the factory and ensure compliant operations throughout the year with zero disruptions. Build employee and organisation excellence at the plant through optimal human resources planning, recruitment, welfare and administration, capability development and retention in order to support business needs.   - The Plant HR Manager will also be responsible for building organizational capabilities, continuous improvement culture with Zero Loss Mindset and overall commitment and performance in line with GMI HR Operations strategy.  Key Responsibilities :  - Act as a key member of the Plant Leadership Team (PLT) and provide the necessary coaching and guidance to the Plant Manager and other members of the PLT  - Develop a long term IR strategy. Effectively liasoning with village /local authorities / Opinion Makers   - Analyzing the internal and external environment (unions, Govt, political bodies)  - Enabling the preparation of timely and comprehensive operating plans with challenging goals  - To architect along with the PLT an adaptive work culture that promotes company growth   - Developing and maintaining harmonious and progressive employee relations in the plant through 2 way communication and employee involvement   - Ensuring effective manpower planning and providing right person for the right job on time  - Developing & directing employee welfare activities to build team spirit and sense of ownership   - Ensuring strict adherence to statutory laws & 100% compliance   - Ensuring minimal turnover and analyzing causes for leaving and addressing them   - Leading change initiatives in own area and supporting continuous improvement in the plant.  Knowledge / Skills :  - Thorough knowledge of employee relations, Industrial Relations and External community building   - Operates with a continuous improvement philosophy and zero loss mindset  - HR generalist with Hire to Retire process knowledge  - Working knowledge of Employment Law & Compliance  - Coaching/Mentoring & Facilitation Skills   - Good understanding of organizational structures and interactions & people and social relationships   - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills; able to communicate effectively at all levels  - Planning, priority setting, problem solving and monitoring skills  - Negotiation skills & Consulting skills  KEY INTERFACES :   Internal :   - Plant Leadership Team, Factory Colleagues across levels  - IMEA HR Director, HR Department, Operations Director   External :   - Government / Regulatory authorities  - Recruitment and Training Consultants  - Vendors / Suppliers
