- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
- Responsible for manufacturing operations, engineering, purchases, supply chain / planning, quality, maintenance and up-gradation of process and facility
- Ensure the timely delivery of quality products, meeting applicable regulatory, food safety requirements.
- Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision makers.
- To prepare annual budget for production and to map the actual performance.
- To facilitate various audits including statutory audits, internal and private label customer audits.
- Provide leadership and be accountable for setting plant goals, objectives and annual target setting for food safety, quality, delivery, cost
- Follow current GMPs, FDA, HACCP, ISO, HALAL, FSSAI and any other applicable standards of compliance in Food manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with marketing, Production and R&D teams to optimize the technical standards and support them in developing new products.
- Increasing capacity of plant, Upgrade the process for cost effectiveness. Set up / Convert Plant lines, consumer packaging facility in all Unit.
- To develop a system for maintaining health & safety norms.
- To investigate the reasons for customer complaints/product recalls and to take the corrective and preventive measures.
- To ensure that statutory compliances are met related to labor & factory and do
- To liaison with Government authorities for licenses/permits including pollution control board.
- Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issue
Necessary qualifications and experience:
- 20+ years experience in handling of factory operations.
- Experience in handling regulatory, certification and external audits.
- Through understanding of food manufacturing and factory processes.
- Good communication and presentation skills
