General Manager/VP (Sanitary Project)

Our client is a Rs.1000 crores turnover group with diverse business interests in operations in manufacturing, IT etc. They have their operations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and are planning to expand their operations to other states. They are planning to go for green field project in Sanitary ware. They plan to set up a state of art factory in the state of Andhra Pradesh with adequate capital outlay.

Our client is looking for Vice President / General manager Projects.

They are looking for Engineering candidates who have previous experience in handling Green field projects especially Sanitary-ware projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following :

Plan the project :

- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management

- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities including identifying the resource needed to successfully complete the project and later review the project schedule.

Staff the project :

- In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities

- Manage project staff and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization

Implement the project :

- Execute the project according to the project plan

- Monitor the progress of the project and Review the quality of the work completed, make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

Control the project :

- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for funders as outlined in funding agreements

Evaluate the project :

- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality

- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

Experience : 15 to 22 years
