General Manager/Vice President - Business Analytics - BFSI

- To drive the organization strategy to rewire the business using Analytics at scale - as a core engine to business growth. To partner with Key Business functions & IT and Digital teams to build critical capabilities in a core data-science function which will work with business and develops an obsession with scaling up initiatives. and provide them strategic & analytic inputs to help them identify business opportunities as well as areas for operational efficiency improvement

- Managing a data team in a large scale environment that architects the deployment of new generation analytic tools and techniques by using traditional and new sources of data across the enterprise ; particularly in the Next Gen and Digital space

- Use analytics as a source of competitive differentiation, improving business decision making, and customer experience 

- Use a variety of legacy and emerging analytic techniques incorporating supervised and unsupervised machine-learning methods to be deployed in business decisions (Sales, Cross Sell, Risk, Fraud, Persistency and Customer Services value chain)

- Turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to solve key use cases 

- Act as a creative thinker to the organization and propose new ways to look at problems by using data and available information (e.g. with predictive modeling, machine learning, etc.) presenting back their findings to the business by sharing their assumptions and validation work in a pragmatic/simple

- Hire, nurture, and grow talent within the analytics team 

- Oversee a team that builds, tests, andways that can be easily understood by the business non-analytics counterparts

- Hire, nurture, and grow talent within the analytics team 

- Oversee a team that builds, tests, and analyzes data models, artificial intelligence, and machine learning tools, to enhance user experience, customer service, and product innovation.

- Post Graduate with specialization in Analytics, General management

- A total experience of 8-10 years with 4+ years of analytical domain experience

- Exposure to BFSI sector will be preferred

- SAS and other Business analytical tools knowledge; MS office skills
