General Manager - Utility - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:-

- Manage Utility equipment - efficiently with highest uptime.

- Implement Best maintenance practices to ensure product Quality and Quantity.

- Coordinate with Production departments for carrying out P.M jobs.

- Preparation of maintenance strategy for reliability and uptime.

- Carry out troubleshooting and solve engineering problems

- Implement and update Standard Operating Procedures.

- Cost Reduction in utility areas - Power consumption, Fuel consumption, Maintenance cost

- Ensure safety of the equipment & personnel

- Ensure compliance of systems like 5S, ISO9001, BRC / AIB etc.,

- Impart training and skill development for utility personnel

- Good knowledge & experience in energy conservation [power/fuel/water] jobs

Experience required:-

- O&M of Thermic Fluid Heaters --Coal Fired (AFBC, Travelling Grate,Dynamic Grate)of 7MKCal/Hr and above & Oil Fired of 2.8MKCal/Hr and above

- O&M of Air compressors 600CFM and above (Reciprocating, Screw, Centrifugal) & Air Dryers

- O&M of Chillers 450TR & above - VAM(Steam based & Hot Water based), Centrifugal/Screw chiller etc.

- O&M of Cooling Towers (Cross flow, Counter flow, Induced draft )

- O&M of Nitrogen plant, Gear boxes, Hot Oil systems, Chilled/Cooling Water systems

- O&M of Water Plants ( Soft Water/DM Water / RO Water) / STP/ ETP etc.

- O&M of Air Handling Unit & Air Washers.

- O&M of Pumps (Centrifugal/ Screw/ Diaphragm/ Vacuum/gear etc.,)

- O&M of Plate heat exchangers/Shell & Tube heat exchangers etc.,

- Knowledge/experience in ZLD systems/usage of treated water from ETP & STP

- Experience in handling of around 35~40 utility personnel
