About our Client - Our client is an Indian conglomerate with operations across 15 countries. They are currently looking to recruit a General Manager- Treasury for their Mumbai office with the opportunity of the position moving into a CFO position.

Job Description - Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:

- Liasioning and negotiating with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities to meet working capital and project requirements.

- Presenting the company to various Funding Agencies/Investors and exploring Innovative method for Resource raising through IPOs, Private placement, Structured financial instruments, Venture funding, private equity funding, etc.

- Deploying Forex hedging strategies to mitigate the risk of adverse currency movements and Forex Liabilities & Forex management.

- Handling fund management & deployment involving optimum utilization of surplus funds in Fixed Income Products/Mutual Funds, Equity Schemes & structured Instruments to achieve pre-determined returns.

- Knowledge of Investment banking transactions, prospectus drafting, IPOs, Open offer underwriting tie-ups, liasioning with SEBI ROC, Stock Exchanges, Investment bankers etc

- Handling of Mergers & Acquisitions transactions, Due diligence, Enterprise Valuation and allied activities.

- Project Financing tie ups, Legal documentation, Security creation and Financial closures.

- Ensuring servicing of Domestic & foreign currency debts/ LC Repayment and accounting & recording of the same in SAP.

- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected figures & actual expenditure and implementing corrective actions.

The Successful Candidate - As a successful applicant you will be a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years experience. Strong exposure to fund raising having managed a portfolio size of 1000+ cr. Manufacturing background preferred.
