General Manager - Supply Chain Management - IT - IIM/MDI/ISB

General Description

1. Perform top down (AP2) Demand Forecasting for respective Product Category at an All India Level.

2. Align Top down forecast (AP2) with Bottom Up Forecast (AP1). Drive & Lead Consensus on S&OP Meetings. 

3. Prepare Supply Plans in the system to ensure optimum inventory levels.

4. Ensure there is smooth phase-in & phase-out of products.

5. Co-Ordination with the Factory Production Planning team to Fix the SOP's and ensuring that right Product Mix is available as per the AP1 at MP Level.

6. Generate Weekly Shipment Plan(SOP) for factory and RDC. Ensure minimal or nil demand-supply gaps at channel-branch level.

7. Ensure there are no overdue stocks or obsolescence at region & at MP level.

8. In-case of Factory aging, plan production accordingly in order to liquidate the same. Communicate and drive demand in Sales team accordingly inorder to subsequently liquidate FG inventory.

9. Lead HO SCM meetings to ensure all key SCM points are discussed and positively closed. Share MOM's and action plan. Track them to closure.

10. Review and monitor SCM KPIs such as Forecast accuracy, Inventory ageing, Sales achievement, Top Down & Bottom-up Forecast Consensus, minimize Demand-Supply Gaps. Trigger corrective actions as necessary in sales review meetings with Product /Sales teams to ensure metrics are within targets.

11. Manage relationships with Sales teams, Factory Production Planning Team, Product management teams, Logistics team, Branch teams, etc.

12. Develop and deploy training and mentoring approach and content for various Supply Chain and Planning activities for Sales and Supply Chain teams.

13. Various MIS reports to be shared regularly.

Necessary Skills / Attributes

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

- MBA Degree (Premier Institute)

- BE (Preferred) KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 12 - 15 years of demand planning & forecasting experience in relevant industry

- Knowledge of ERP

- Excellent Relationship Management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure - High on self-Motivation, positive attitude and work ethic desired
