General Manager - Supply Chain Management - Health & Wellness

The opportunity is with India's Leading Health and Wellness company based in Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the deliveries across India from manufacturing plant as per sales and production forecast.

- Implementing sales & distribution plans to ensure availability of the entire range of products.

- Responsible for all kind of RM/PM procurement & Inventory control for factory

- RM/PM Procurement, Price Negotiation & Cost Reduction

- Identifying new vendors for quality and cost optimization

- Identifying vendors for the new product launches in regards to RM/PM

- Handling fleet of vehicles & transporters ensuring on time delivery and monitoring transit norms.

- Monitoring and analyzing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control the same.

- Review C&FA performance, negotiation and Contract Finalization.

- Support to C&FAs in terms of Logistics, Reconciliations, and Monthly settlements.

- C&FA cost budgeting and monthly tracking.

- Designing, implementing & monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalising specifications of materials & establishing quality & quantity limits for effective inventory control.

- Managing the inventory levels & avoiding stock outs for different category.

- Warehouse infrastructure planning, fulfillment and productivity.

- Following up with vendors for timely deliveries, quality checks as well as timely payments.

- Responsible for smooth effective functioning of warehouse and stores in Factory.

- Developing & Implementation of SOP pertaining to Warehousing, Transportation and Inventory planning.

- Weekly and Monthly MIS - Freight Analysis, Sales Forecast v/s Actual and Manpower Productivity.

- Responsible for action plan for slow moving items in coordination with Marketing team

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

- Good understanding of the Logistics & Warehouse Management

Desired Qualifications:

- Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management.

Desired Experience:

- 15 - 20 years preferably in Pharmaceutical / FMCG (Cosmetics & Personal Care)

- Company policies in relevant areas

- Warehouse layout planning to ensure maximum storage in minimum space.

- Inputs for cost reduction in material handling with higher efficiencies.
