General Manager/Subject Matter Expert - Operations - Hoses/Mining Company

We are currently looking for Subject Matter expert for Hoses for a leading mining company

Designation- General Manager

Location- Jamshedpur

Report to- Head

Team Handling-Yes

Education- Diploma Mechanical or BE/B.Tech-Mechanical only

- SME - Hoses is responsible for resource planning, process audit, gear re validation and implementing quality processes for the inspection and monitoring of all the hoses utilized at the project level.

- Minimum work experience of 15+ years of which at least 05 years as Head - Maintenance in the overseas mining industry.

- Should have knowledge on the HEMM & Crusher and Screen Plant Gears.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

- Review and audit the requirement of all the HEMM hoses for the PAN India Operation.

- New material inspection of hoses, pipes and connectors for Thermo plastic hose, hydraulic hose, PPE, PFTE hose, high-temperature corrosive fluids hose, Braider hose, industrial hoses, spiral steel wire high impulse, Pilot hose, Defence hoses. Rubber cover hoses.

- Responsible for maintaining the hose health card report.

- Responsible for the life tracking of the hose.

- Preparing presentation for Weekly Review, Monthly MIS & present to Management

- Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize operational availability of HEMM gears and other wear components for all machines and equipment.

- Conduct root cause analysis of gear operational failures to evolve quick break down solutions to put the equipment back in operation.

- Document maintenance records of all machines and effectively utilized them to resolve future maintenance related issues.

- Map consumption pattern of spares and ensured availability of reasonable inventory thereof to address maintenance needs.

- Reduce Mean Time To Repair of Machineries and Improvement in Productivity.

- Work on Vendor development & engage with internal functionaries for better spare plan

- Conducting weekly meeting for quality issues resolutions with Site Maintenance InCharges; leading and coordinating with various internal teams and external agencies to achieve Quality KPI targets
