About Battery Smart : Battery Smart ( www.batterysmart.in ) is India's largest and fastest-growing battery swapping network for electric two and three-wheelers. The company is co-founded by serial entrepreneurs and IIT-Kanpur graduates, Pulkit Khurana and Siddharth Sikka, and targeting the $17b battery swapping market by 20

Started in June 2020, Battery Smart has completed more than 1 Lac battery swaps and is on a mission to make adoption of electric mobility simple, economical, and accessible.


Role:


1) Design and implement a structured program for strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the shared e-mobility and EV energy space - including and not limited to OEMs, Financial Institutions, Policy Makers, Think tanks.


2) End to end ownership of maintenance and growth of key, long term partnerships and related leverages


3) Generate exclusive space for Battery Smart in the EV ecosystem through intense research, targeted engagements and strategic tie ups with key players


4) Garner long term, strategic business association with senior management of partner institutions/organizations and derive synergetic results


5) Initiate, structure, negotiate and finalize deals with key partners including commercial and legal agreements for onboarding


6) Cross functional collaboration with internal teams at Battery Smart to amass support for the partnership goals


7) Deliver excellent experience for strategic partners of Battery Smart


8) Bring in key insights about EV batteries and charging infrastructure to mission critical roadmap planning


Essential Skills:

- Scalability: Long-term vision to support the intense growth phase now and subsequent scale in the future.

- Adaptability: We have a very agile set up which results in frequent change of plans and requires speed and precision in execution. It is important to keep up with the pace.

- Clarity: VUCA environment is a reality of our growing organization, you should be very comfortable dealing with that and be able to process various information streams and create timely and comprehensible action plans Technical skills and qualifications:

- Extensive prior experience of leading strategic partnerships and/or Business Developments at high paced organizations, start up experience is a plus.

- Deep understanding of EVs/stationary energy storage SC with working knowledge of Lithium Ion Batteries, Charging and IoT cloud platforms.

- Expertise in Project Management, effective decision making on the basis of identification of bottlenecks and possible solutions.

- You have an Engineering Degree. Advanced degrees such as MS or MBA are preferred.

- You have around 7-8 years of applicable industry experience. Prior experience in EVs/Energy industry; exposure to govt relationships & financial partnerships is preferred (ref:iimjobs.com)
