GM Strategy & IPO

GM-Strategy and IPO : The responsibilities are as follows and includes proficiency in Working Capital Management, Taxation, Mergers and Acquisition, Risk Analysis, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Banking Relation Management, IPO Readiness and Listing, ERP Management

SECTION III : DO-KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Perspective Responsibilities :

- Strategic;- Engage with Merchant & Investment Bankers, Private Equity Investors, and Strategic Investors for debt & equity funding

- Driving cost optimization & controls measures across the group.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial and statistical reporting.

- Internal Process/ Operations ; Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts for the Group. Prepare and maintain monthly cash flow and working capital projections for the group.

- Review policies, controls & procedures for Finance & Accounting functional areas and initiate necessary changes to ensure consistency and integrity of accounts across all units.

- Create implement, monitor and review revenue, expense, profitability, cash & capital budgets at Monthly / Quarterly intervals. Help ensure accountability of budget holders to their allotted budgets. Provide regular feedback to them and advise remedial action for key variances.

- Maintain an up-to-date and anticipatory knowledge of upcoming accounting, compliance and financial reporting changes.

- Provide full support for annual balance sheet and cash flow budgeting to complement P&L and capital budgeting by all branches.

- Understand & mitigate key elements of the company's profile

- Monitor open legal issues involving the company.

- Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.

- Learning and Development ; To keep abreast of all current developments in business and functional aspects and knowledge transfer to the team

- To groom the team and develop successor.

- To upgrade the skills of the team by providing learning opportunities.

- To educate the cross- functional teams on certain key topics relevant to the business

Section IV: Qualification and technical skills required to execute the role.

- Successful candidate should be a Chartered Accountant/MBA with between 12 to 18 years of experience most of which will be ideally coming in from manufacturing intensive organizations (preferably automotive industry).

- IPO preparation experience

- Consolidation accounting experience

- Good knowledge of Risk Management;

- Policy Development, Regulatory Compliance, Contract Negotiations Skills;

- Good Drafting Skills

- Acumen in setting up Regulatory Compliances, Enterprise Risk mitigation plan

- Should have Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

- Should have Leadership Skills

- Should have Eye for details.

- Should have the Negotiating skills

- Should have assertive

- Should Handle conflicts Delegation Team Building Analytical skills People management skills Presentation skills Communication skills Networking skills

- Should have excellent time-management and organizational skills
