DGM/GM - STRATEGIC ALLIANCES & PARTNERSHIPS

Description :

The Partnerships Head would be responsible for spearheading the Pan India enterprise business development function.

Responsibilities :

The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to :


- The DGM/GM - Strategic Alliances & Partnerships at ShopX would be required to expand and strengthen the business and product portfolio in the assigned vertical via targeted strategic tieups. 


- Spearhead the entire vertical alliances/ partnerships/ business development operations, strategy, analytics & other support functions and to mentor & closely monitor the performance levels of all direct and indirect reportees. 


- Research and identify market trends and new/existing brand players that may effectively enhance the business portfolio in diverse geographies. 


- To constantly prospect for potential new clients and the decision makers within the client organization and convert the leads into increased business. 


- Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. 


- Enhance existing business relationships and constantly engage them presenting latest features, offers or schemes. 


- Ensure a smooth and effective new client onboarding process and coordinate internally with all teams and team heads. 


- Be a SHOPX brand ambassador and plan approaches, pitches and schemes. Work with team to develop mutually beneficial proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.


 - Coordinate meetings between the client decision makers and the SHOPX principals/ founders. 


- Participate in various internal projects and contribute insights from a vertical function perspective and effectively execute the support function requirements. 


- Work closely with the marketing/ brand/ design function to produce essential branding collaterals as per the requirements. 


- Review final business proposals with the internal/ external legal team to ensure all terms and conditions are addressed effectively. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately. 


- Constantly devise and recommend market disrupting strategies backed with market research and competition analysis 


- Proactively identify opportunities for BD process improvement. Works closely with BD operations team to inspect process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists BD team in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. 


- Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.

- Proven working experience as a BD/ Alliances/ Partnerships Function Head for retail for relevant vertical companies 


- Strong target market brands and clients network 


- Excellent leadership traits and experience of handling diverse teams across geographies. 


- High level of strategic thinking and business acumen with a strong result oriented approach. 


- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thought process. 


- Proven track record of achieving targets 


- Highly creative with ability to think out of box 


- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills 


- Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices
