General Manager - Security Engineering - Managed Security Services Business

- Info sec engineering background with CASB and DLP and SIEM (arcsight/splunk/alien vault/ Qradar) and cyber threat intelligence platform and VAPT and firewall has a fast-growing Managed Security Services (MSS) business which is poised for global expansion at the back of a robust Security Services/product portfolio as well as strategic investments and enhancements in delivery capabilities like Regional SOC and integrated Service Delivery platforms.

- The MSS product stack cuts across a strong play in network & content protection, with a leading play in DDoS detection and mitigation services, Secure Internet Gateway, Secure Web Gateway, Cloud WAF, Cloud SIEM, IDaaS, CASB, CTI, SOAR and other cloud security services. This is now evolving into a compelling portfolio with Integrated threat management, Advanced Cloud Security services, Identity & Data Security solutions.

Experience & Qualifications :

- 15+ years of experience in creating and implementing enterprise grade Security Services across multiple security domains and technologies. Experience in managing technology teams of IT/Cyber security professionals.

- Provide leadership and direction to Network and Security engineering team for Managed Security Services business, working with peer Engineering teams, Product, Development, Delivery and Assurance teams to foster innovation, create a network and security engineering team and culture that embraces, explores and expands on the best practices in creation of world class MSSP practices. Implement a modular and pluggable platform architecture for delivery of services that can be integrated into a - Single Pane of Glass- for unified customer experience; introduce new technologies in the areas of Security and Cloud, including leveraging Open Source systems and New Age technologies.

The objective of these initiatives is to achieve revenue growth, market competitiveness, operational efficiency & stability and position as a leader in the Managed Security Services space, with a specific focus on the following domains/technologies and cloud based services:

- SIEM

- Web Application Firewall

- Multifactor Authentication

- IDaaS

- Secure Internet Gateway

- Secure Web Gateway / Web Security Solutions

- Perimeter, Network and System Security

- APT, DLP & EPS

- DDoS

- VA, PT,

Prior experience of having worked with MSSP or IT System Integrators (security practice) or Security Consulting practice is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelors in Computer Science and/or Engineering;

Security certification like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK - Preferred

Responsibilities :

- Create Security Platforms & Services based on product/market demand and industry best practices

- Build and govern Security Services platform architecture and reference architecture/framework

- Manage Network & Security Engineering and Technology Development initiatives

- Enable Product Development and service launch initiatives

- Support field teams in designing large and complex security solutions that involves multiple security domains and technologies

- Create strong strategic and working relationships with OEMs/ISVs & partners

- Work with MSS Product team - to develop and execute go-to-market or penetration strategies to drive MSS business growth
