General Manager - SAP & IT - Manufacturing

1. Background of the company : Its a leading manufacturing company which is listed in the stock exchange having factories in various locations and offices in PAN India and globally,

2. Position : General Manager (SAP & IT)

3. Location : Hyderabad

4. Job Role & Responsibilities :

- You will be overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals.

- Devising and establishing, IT & SAP policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.

- Analysing the business requirements of all departments to determine there technology needs.

Responsibilities : 

- You will be in charge of a team of IT managers and manager the company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. 

- The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet objectives. 

- The goal is to ensure IT Systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget time and specifications of the company.

- You will oversee the technology operations (Eg, network,security) and evaluate them according to established goals,

- Devise and establish IT & SAP policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the management,

- Analyse the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs,

- Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software,

- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.

- Identify the need for upgrades,

- Configurations or new systems and report to management,

- Co-ordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance, 

- Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost efficient contracts. You should be well versed with S/4 Hana Technical Migration Project

- You should have hands of experience in SAP/ IT Applications/ Project/ Program & Delivery Management with Process Excellence, Design, Bench-marking, Governance, Risk Compliance and relevant processes,

Requirements : 

- Proven experience as IT & SAP expert or similar role,

- Experience in analysis,implementation and evaluation of IT Systems and their specifications,

- Sound understanding of computer systems (Hardware/Software),networks etc, 

- Experience in controlling information technology budget, Good leadership skills etc
