Our client is a well-established European multinational with multiple business divisions and a global presence. For one of their divisions in India, a General Manager is being identified with the following key responsibilities : - Full responsibility for the unit's business and organization in India which mainly consists out of 2 parts: Sales and Service, Factory operations @ Nasik - Set up a Greenfield assembly facility conforming to global standards - Manage the operations of the unit across the value chain - Oversee the sales and service functions of the unit in the region - Assume P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the entire business operations in India - Coordinate budgeting process and reporting of its execution - Build effective liaison with the local and national authorities - Team management, coordination of all activities related to the internal personnel, coaching, motivating and inspiring the team The role reports to management outside India.
