General Manager - Sales & Marketing - Food Park

Organization :

A newly built state of the art food park spread across 55 acers in Fazilka, Punjab comprising of :

- In-House Manufacturing of Dairy and IQF and storage of grain based products,

- Common Infrastructure and Utilities

- Built to Suit facilities for other Food and agro players to set up operations on a - plug and play- model

- Infrastructure being created includes a Central Processing Centre, Farm Proximate Processing Centres, Utilities and Logistics to create a sustainable and capital efficient food and agri eco system including regular supply of water available through canal and bore well, Captive RO plant, Captive power plant, 100% power backup.

- The park is operational with production and has a installed revenue potential of Rs.500 cr. in 2-3 years.

GM - Sales and Marketing Role :

- Prepare and monitor execution of the annual sales plan for both dairy and IQF businesses in line with revenue and margin goals outlined in the business plan

- Expand relationships with Institutional customers and develop new product categories to service these new customer segments to help the company generate atleast 30-40 % of revenue from institutional clients

- Develop a strategy for improving sales coverage and efficiency of sales force and creating a robust MIS and Sales reporting system to track sales performance through the year

- Identify training needs and other initiatives which can be deployed to improve sales performance of the company

- Develop partnerships with various intermediaries to expand reach and coverage of the company's products

Expectation from candidate :

- MBA with 15+years of Sales Experience in a FMCG/Food/ dairy/Beverage Manufacturing Business.

- Experience of working in agri/food sector to be an added advantage

- A self-starter ready to build organization with a potential of annual turnover of 500 cr.

- Position to be based out of Chandigarh corporate office with regular travel to the plant at Fazilka
