Warburttons a leadership search organisation is retained to identify a strategic and experienced Head of Sales - Liquor Trade for North India to lead the revenue function for a mid sized Liquor Company. This role demands a visionary leader capable of expanding markets , driving sales, maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives.
As a Head of Sales North India you will manage the below responsibility:
- Lead and manage the sales strategy & operations of North Zone for the portfolio brands
- Create & Manage Distributor, Retailer, on-Premises & trade associates in the zone
- Ensure Sales, Delivery and Brand Visibility in key cities in line with AOP (Annual Op Plan)
- Manage cross functional team of sales, trade marketing, supply chain in the zone
- Liaison with Govt Regulatory bodies, keep track of policies and maintain relations for smooth operations in the zone
A successful applicant should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in liquor trade sales business management in North India specially in Whiskey and Brandy Categories
- In-depth knowledge of trade regulations, compliance, industry dynamics
- Alcho Bev Market expertise of UP, Haryana, Punjab & Delhi
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Punjabi Language
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
- Exceptional networking, relationship-building capabilities
- Willingness to travel extensively within North India
