Role Summary:  Job Description : General Manager - S&D, Mysore  Responsible for Sales & Distribution PAN India. Also will be responsible for the Trade marketing & BTL initiatives, Sales Force Automation & Business Development  Qualification :  - Management Graduate from reputed Institutes Experience:  - 10+ years- experience in sales & intensive distribution, FMCG business ONLY  - Multiregional exposure is distinct advantage; South Market is must plus experience in any other regions  - Experience in building systems & processes related to large distribution network is preferable  - Multiple Regional experience as RSM or ZSM or already Head sales or NSM for a mid-size FMCG company may be an apt profile  Desired skills :   Functional :   - Distribution and display leadership support to Regional team  - Contribute in creating the correct - Go to Market- model, determine town and outlet penetration suitable for current and future business growth in specific regions  - Develop and execute Trade Marketing initiatives in coordination with HQ, RSMs or ASMS and successfully percolate the same right up to the Front line across regions  - Roll out & successfully implement Sales Force Automation initially for Metro, followed by entire Regional markets  - Actively assist in developing KRA Metrics for the Sales Team  Behavioural :   - Demonstrate strategic leadership, customer orientation, company values, ethics and pride through exemplary behavior  Roles & responsibilities :  - Responsible for achievement of volume or value targets by Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly goals for total region with direct responsibility of domestic channel including General Trade of large towns and Small Distribution towns.  - Develop & monitor coverage, productivity, visibility, Must Sell SKU benchmarks  - Develop and implement the Distributor Health check & Standardize the distributor selection process  - Assist Senior leadership in devising Launch Plans for New Products  - Develop & evaluate all BTL Initiatives & tracking of the same  - Implement a robust Key Account Management Program for all channels  - Development & ideation of BTL collaterals, Visibility Benchmarks  - Achieve execution excellence through proper planning, monitoring and chasing the set objectives.  - Execute display and merchandising guidelines in all network; develop display aids and local vendors in respective regions  - Facilitate deliver of targeted training for front line sales team in retail channel  - Timeliness of Reports, ensure robust tracking for Field Force Productivity Metrics  - Energize Field Force through innovative and exciting incentive plans that will make them stretch for challenging goals and exploiting the market potential  - Manage Advertising & Promoting budgets across regions  - Pilot test key in-market initiatives, analyze results and make appropriate recommendations  - Secure key sales information from field sales and present business analytics and findings through planned reviews to Leadership Team on monthly basis   - Analyze data to gauge effectiveness of key activities and promotions through a pre-agreed control panel and use the analysis to fine tune future activities
