Job description: Position : General Manager - Business Operations

Reporting to Chief operating officer

Purpose of the Role :-

To lead the Community Business Unit taking complete responsibility of Profit & Loss, multiple revenue streams and managing large and complex multi-functional organization.

Role Description :

1. Heading the Community Business unit and its operations.

2. Responsible for handling the Profit &Loss of the business unit.

3. Managing multiple revenue streams,

4. Managing trade relations with Cable operators & External Agencies.

5. Leading organic growth.

6. Leading a multi-functional organization.

7. Strategy formulation and designing fiscal plan.

8. Response to competition - both strategically and tactically.

9. Ensure Quality of service.

Key Result Areas :

1. Growth of sub-base through organic means and acquisitions.

2. Quality of service and growth of ARPU (average revenue per user) .

3. Organization development / setting up systems and processes.

Education : Post Graduate from a Premier - B School

Work Experience :

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in handling operations.

- Preferably from FMCG/CD, Telecom, ISP Industry.

- Should have Minimum 2+ years experience in a consultative environment preferred.

- Should have Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a managerial role preferred.

- Should possess strong market Intelligence/Industry knowledge or experience.

- Ability to handle large teams and handle multifunctional projects.

- Must possess Strong interpersonal abilities.

- Must have Strong negotiation, communication & presentation skills.
