The Role: GM - Risk Acquisition Strategy

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop underwriting strategies for Personal Loan through existing data iecosystem as well as explore alternate data

- Assess & enhance underwriting framework using traditional and non-traditional data sources

- Detailed understanding of in-house systems & agility to change the same whenever required

- Hands-on approach to risk segmentation & ability to implement the same on system

- Think like a consumer to bringing ease in use of the product along with maintaining risk loss

- Monitor & track repayment patterns of existing portfolio & quickly make acquisition strategy changes

- Ability to bring external knowledge of unsecured products like personal loans, consumer loans & credit cards from acquisition standpoint & build capability internally

- Focused to understand risk not only from underwriting but impact to the overall consumer lending cycle

- Collaborating with teams like - Data Science, Product, Business to setup and monitor underwriting strategies

- Monitor implemented strategies to continuously assess business & risk impact

- Promote a self-service culture by understanding the trends and behaviors in the Risk reporting and drive through the appropriate enhancements to ensure maximum utilisation of reporting and analytics toolsets

Skills Required:

- Hands-on experience of defining risk strategies, managing portfolio and building risk models along with problem solving and analytical thinking

- A Growth & Tech-first Mindset - you are aggressive, have a 10x approach and like to build for scale

- Adept in quantitative analysis, data mining, trend analysis and creating insights within large data eco-system. Proficiency in data tools like SQL/Python

- Experience of Alternate data along with Bureau Data Management and designing Risk Strategies using the same

- Communication and Stakeholder management - you are able to present your point of view cogently and are able to engage effectively with everyone from external partners to CXOs

Qualifications & Experience:

- Post Graduate Degree in Engineering/Economics/Statistics/Management

- 4+ years of Risk Analytics and Portfolio Management experience in Financial Services/Fintech preferably in Credit Card / Unsecured Loan
