We are hiring for one of our clients in the non-profit industry for the role of a resource mobilisation general manager.
They are looking for a candidate with vast MARKETING experience.
Position summary :
To help formulate and implement effective strategies to maximize national and international fund generation via the funding received from individuals and corporate bodies.
To co-ordinate with all regions to improve productivity & efficiency in information sharing, planning and reporting
To lead the negotiation with large national channel partnerships and and provide direction to the teams handling these partners
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Fund Raising Strategy :
- Monitor the environment and help the Director RM identify new avenues/ fine tune current strategy to generate resources. Coordinate with the regions to get their inputs and ensure implementation of new initiatives.
- Develop strategies to build new types of channel (offline, digital, mobile and integrated) partnerships in order to increase the resources generated at a regional and national level
- Explore opportunities and outsource non-core activities, and develop new cooperative marketing partnerships;
- Input into regional fund raising strategies in order to ensure uniform sharing of learnings across regions
- Hold the relationship with the organisation's fundraising partner, input into budgets, processes, monitor target achievement and suggest avenues for channel integration.
Data Analysis :
- Undertake organizational and environmental analysis & prepare the budgets, plans & priorities for the RG function
- Collate performance data from regions; prepare and analyse performance and variance reports; highlight areas for corrective action, strengths and weaknesses; suggest revised action plans where required; monitor progress in performance
- Understand marketing and digital data analytics models, drive the implementation of data analytics for Individual Partnership, hold relationship with data analytics service providers.
Donor Communication :
Ensure quality and timely requirement briefs to the communication HO team and delivery from communication HO to the regional teams
- Improve understanding and buy-in of the RG strategy across regions and also improve the inputs/service received by the regions from RGHO
- Coordinate, monitor and guide all national RM vendors and partners; ensure all requirements of these agencies are met across regions
- Set up processes for timely and effective dissemination of information across regions; i.e., performance reports, updated donor database, online information of development programs/initiatives, RG learnings/experiences, new initiatives, documentation and circulation of systems applied with vendors
- Explore opportunities and extend successful systems/processes from one region to another, i.e., vendor direct marketing activities, PR and media partnerships
Process management :
- Improve understanding and buy-in of the RG strategy across regions and also improve the inputs/service received by the regions from RGHO
- Coordinate, monitor and guide all national RM vendors and partners; ensure all requirements of these agencies are met across regions
- Set up processes for timely and effective dissemination of information across regions; i.e., performance reports, updated donor database, online information of development programs/initiatives, RG learnings/experiences, new initiatives, documentation and circulation of systems applied with vendors
- Explore opportunities and extend successful systems/processes from one region to another, i.e., vendor direct marketing activities, PR and media partnerships
- To aid in the process of tax compliance and seek exemptions from governmental authorities to ensure that RG's donor base is offered exemptions for donations.
- Work closely with the IT team to strategise on Resource Generation specific technology requirements, plan for the future and drive the implementation of IT related processes and changes for RG
- To provide all support and help the regions to achieve their targets relating to income, profitability, costs, cash-flow, donor retention and conversion rates, etc
To participate in the formulation and implementation of the functional objectives, plans, priorities and budgets
- To help increase the revenue earned from national RG partnerships and ensure that these partnerships are in line with the organisation vision, mission and values
- Work on developing new processes that improve efficiencies of the RG function at the regional and national level
People Management Responsibilities :
- To build the RGHO team such that it is anchored in organisational values and is motivated to achieve its vision and mission
- To develop the team's capabilities to ensure business objectives are met
Financial Responsibilities :
- Support the regions to meet/exceed resource generation objectives of visibility, income, profitability, and customer/donor relations & service
- Co-ordinate regional efforts for National RM initiatives and ensure that participation and sponsorship targets for the same are met.
