General Manager - Research & Development - Specialty Additives Manufacturer

Currently looking for General Manager - Research & Development - Navi Mumbai with a leading producer of specialty additives used in foods, plastics, rubbers, cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, coatings and textile auxiliaries.

Job Requirement:

Educational Qualifications:- PhD. & MSc in Chemistry

Prior Experience:- Post-graduate with more than 10 years of experience

Domain Knowledge:

Technical Knowledge pertaining to all of chemical company products and services

Research and Research Management Skills

Job Details:-

New product Development :

- Provide support to the RnD team on research and development of new product development OR modifications required in the existing products manufactured by the company

- Assist in decision making on whether a new product is to be manufactured basis the risk involved in the same

- Provide inputs to the Analytical and process development group for the formulation and process development of the new product

- Provide inputs to the team in usability of the products in the market

- Provide input to S&M team regarding the durability and salability of the new product developed
