We have been mandated by a large global conglomerate is into Pharmaceutical, Life science domain.

Position Title : GM - Regulated Market (API)

Functional Area : Sales, Business Development.

Role Category : Senior Management.

Experience : 12-20 Years

Responsibilities :

- Candidate will be based at Mumbai and will be responsible for Sales & Business Development of API for Contract manufacturing in Regulated Markets (India).

- Plan and execute new marketing initiatives to increase the profitability of the Company.

- Provide leadership to the team and aid them in effective customer management so as to ensure the Annual sales Budget of the Company is achieved.

- Experience in understanding of regulatory requirements and timelines is mandatory.

- Understanding of product specifications.

- Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses.

- Coordination with the cross functional teams(planning / production and Logistics/Shipping team) to ensure dispatch as per customer time-lines, shipping documentations are provided to the customer and ensure payments are received by due-dates from the customer.

- Responsibilities also include necessary interaction / coordination with various Departments for samples, regulatory requirements, DMFs and other documentation for new customer & regulatory approvals to meet statutory requirements of the country.

- Monthly order forecasting for production planning.

- Manage business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions.

- Arranging customer audits, ensuring timely response & New Business Development for promotion of API in Regulated Market.

- Maintaining a monthly sales order database and generating monthly sales reports at the end of each month.

- Customer Query handling (Technical, Regulatory, Logistics).

- Goal setting and performance Appraisal of the company S&M team.
