Role Deliverables

Key Deliverables Theme of the Role

- Creating and building a innovative portfolio of hair care and skin care products to help sustain and growth of business through technology leadership and world class product / technology development.

Key Deliverables

- New product development in Hair and Skin care coupled with claims strategy and technology scanning, project management.

- Interface with R&D teams, marketing, CQA and manufacturing on issues related to formulation, technology development and product launches.

- Responsible for developing products by scientific design of experiments that would deliver novel products

- Work with brand management, CQA & legal team to ensure systems, processes for implementation of product claims.

- To plan and create infrastructural requirement of R&D to fulfill organizational goals

- To create a data bank of products in hair care and skin care for future requirement of business.

Competencies -- Must have-

- Knowledge of the process of Product Development in the industry

- New product development/up gradation of existing products in Hair color, Hair Care, Skin care and Personal care Product.

- Must to have knowledge of Phytochemical investigation, instrumental & analytical techniques

- Background in botany & herbal sciences experience is important to have

- Knowledge of active ingredients and ways to translate the benefit to build claims into products in a cost effective manner.

- Well versed with handling of sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, IR, AAS etc.

- Exposure to safety and efficacy studies methodology related to cosmetic products.

- Knowledge of international standards & guidelines governing cosmetic industry.
