Position Overview :


- GM Purchasing & Supply Chain Head will be responsible for all existing plant supply chain along with all upcoming electronics & mechanical plants. Focus of sourcing and reduction in BOM cost.

 Experience: 15 -20 years of experience in Global electronics & Mechanical components

Location Manesar, Gurgaon (Corporate office)

Qualifications B.Tech/B.E., APICS certify, MBA

Scope of Responsibility:

Responsible for entire Purchase & Supply Chain process of the group

Key Responsibilities

- Must have sourcing experience into Transmission - products like gears/shafts/precision/Forging, Elctronics like IC, PCB. Plastic Parts, Wiring Harness

- Responsible for strategic planning and execution of all supply chain activities including Own Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, and Distribution in the plant.

- Sole point of contact for the business for all Supply Chain matters.

- Accountable for the entire SC financial P&L, ensure supply, support business development, ensures alignment with both Business in the Region and Regional Supply Chain strategy.

- Prepare Make and Plan/Deliver annual budget with the manufacturing facilities and monitor expenses including capex and inventory budgets, reconciling variances and developing and implementing cost improvement programs.

- Responsible for S&OP planning including Demand planning, Supply Planning & Distribution.

- Develop and implement integrated manufacturing, logistics and planning solution encompassing manufacturing/distribution network design, S&OP implementation, import/export operations, effective organization capabilities.

- Operational management of warehouse and transportation, supply planning and strategic inventory planning for finished goods, raw material, packing material and implementation of strategy for all business needs.

- Responsible for driving optimization of total Supply Chain cost, inventory performance through integrated supply chain activities, and 3rd party distribution alliances. Manages continuous improvement of total Supply Chain cost.

- Set Customer Service Level (OTIF) and inventory targets with manufacturing sites and assure achievement of the agreed targets.

- Inventory: Responsible for all aspects of inventory planning and management at respective manufacturing sites from receiving to final disposition of products and materials used in manufacturing.

- Responsible for major material planning.

- Keeping track of critical material and communicate changes, if any proactively.

- Responsible inventory control of all raw material.

- Scrap Management - E Auction, Timely disposal.

- Direct, Coordinate, assign, monitor & review work of individuals engaged in supply chain.

- Well versed with various material handling equipment being used in stores & related safety precaution, measure.

- Store Management - 5S, FIFO, Best Practices of storage, Kaizen

- Logistics - Local: Optimization in trucking (load, freight charges, cost to company)

- Logistics International - Operational process, coordination with FF & CHA for timely shipments, well versed with prerequisites towards remittance.

- Implement Logistics strategy (warehouse footprint, transport modes, preferred LSP's - Logistics service providers).

- Ensuring seamless logistics operations from plant to warehouse/ customers. Coordinating with Production to track production and ensure despatches are in line with plans

- Undertaking capacity planning and management for building necessary depot/ CFA and logistics infrastructure for efficient supply chain flow.

- Manage Logistics budget and Capex, including savings programs

General Management

- Develop, Upgrade skills of team members and ensure interchangeability.

- Ensure career planning and development discussions for Supply Chain employees and assume a mentoring relationship with high-potential professionals

- Inventory Management

- Material Planning, Scheduling.

Skills:

- Exceptional communication capabilities in English and Hindi.

- ERP knowledge Must - Various transactions, transfer posting, Movements, MRP

- In depth knowledge of end to end supply chain processes & related best practices (JIT, JIS, Milk Run, KANBAN etc)

- Functional Knowledge in inventory planning, forecasting, warehouse network, transportation operations - including import/export, S&OP and information systems and data management techniques necessary for the effective monitoring of Supply Chain functions.

- MS Office, Webex.

- Expert in MS Excel.

- Analytics, System, Data Management capabilities

- MIS Reporting

- Vendor Relationship
