Job Responsibilities -
- Provide strategic public relations counsel to the management, sales and marketing teams, heads of verticals, and CSR arm.
- Secure press coverage in top-tier print, digital and broadcast media for key events/functions of the company.
- Proactively identify, create, pitch and follow-up on media oppournities to generate regional and national earned media coverage.
- Manage media briefings with key company executives.
- Author and execute annual PR plans (a hand on-role).
- Coordinate/manage crisis management activities as necessary, including with media, government and public.
- Maintain processes and tracking systems to generate steady volume of media coverage in appropriate channels for company and key spokespersons.
- Identify and apply for all relevant award oppournities.
- Train spokespeople to ensure corporate messages are strategically communicated.
- Effective management of budgets and timelines.
- Manage PR agencies as appropriate. Write edit press releases for dissemination through PR agency.
- Report periodically on brand press coverage with impressions, readership and share-of-voice.
