General Manager - Projects, with Real Estate Company

Position : General Manager - Projects (Civil)

Education : BE, B.Tech (Civil Engineering) with at-least 6 Years experience.

Competencies :

- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Aptitude to work in highly process oriented project management teams.

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for managing design and construction activities of the projects.

- Interact with the clients, Consultants and service providers to generate design brief.

- Budgeting, Planning, tendering, evaluating and recommending award of contracts.

- Managing contract and contractor during execution of works, including Time, Cost & Quality monitoring.

- Liaise with the concerned Govt. authorities for necessary approvals for commencement construction and upon completion, obtain all approvals required to commence operations.

- Ensure legal compliance for all construction related activities.

- Scheduling and planning activities for timely completion of projects.

- Monitor timely execution of activities as per the schedules and activate catch-up plan, whenever necessary.

- Responsible for safety of staffs working at the sites.

- Detailing scope of work, conducting technical studies, evaluating vendors, seeking approval for contracts.

- Identify areas of improvements, suggest modification, create awareness to improve existing processes, & follow ISO standards.

- Presentations to explain and highlight Project issues to management, for necessary reviews and follow up and directions.

- Monthly, Quarterly and annual reporting.

- Participating in management reviews held from time to time.

Compensation : Upto Rs. 8.00 Lacs per annum
