Analyse current and future trends of products in the Indian insurance markets and abroad - in terms of demographics, technology, service delivery.  3. Develop bank of Innovative Product ideas validated through Market Research / Workshops.  4. Validate all product value propositions before the start of product development-meeting various vendors, outsourced tele-calling centres etc.  5. Ensure speed to market by adherence to product calendar.  6. End-to-end project management for - Go To Market- which includes System changes, training module development, website interface, marketing collaterals etc.  7. Manage the rigorous process of IRDAI filing documentation, as required, and interaction with IRDAI officials for smoother product approval.  8. Branch visits to interact with agents, DSTs, brokers to do specific focus groups as well as feedback on current products.  In-life product management  1. Regular assessment of products to ensure that they fulfill the needs of the chosen target segment and are performing as per business case.  2. Claims performance of the offering.  3. Competitive vis-a-vis other market offerings.  4. Expense analysis.  Portfolio analysis  1. Performance of various products w.r.t. claims, channels, productivity etc.  2. Partner with actuarial peers to ensure product margins & models.  3. Maintaining planned persistency levels across all segments.  4. Monitor, manage & report on product performance in terms of geographies, numbers individual contribution to new business income including financials.  5. Develop reports & metrics to evaluate business mix, create new opportunities for Product Distribution.  6. Provide subject matter expertise in policy administration issues & suggest effective & efficient timely solutions.
