This position exists with one of our esteemed clients. It is a leading company in its category and they are into diverse fields like machinery manufacturing, industrial sales, distribution and services of different products and processes.

A. Purpose:

1. Develop a pipeline of opportunities for new goods, new technologies, and emerging trends for both domestic and international markets (as applicable).

2. Serve as a liaison between the team and the principals to facilitate efficient product and business development.

3. Develop a capable team that is in line with the organisational strategy.

B. Responsibilities:

1. Principal, application & product life cycle analysis and action plan: Recognising fresh segment trends and getting ready for the future of business. identifying innovative technology trends and acting on them by looking for and weighing available solutions. Create a business case, develop an action plan, and conduct a SWOT analysis of the company's current operations, products, and guiding principles.

2. Act as a bridge between Principal's & team: Responsible for Principal relations, market & business presentations, and Principal reports. Responsible for competition product & services features analysis & creating differentiated sales argument pitch for sales team. Responsible for formulating & supporting in execution of marketing & communicating plan. Coordinate for delivery lead times & major changes in deliveries from principals with help of sales admin team.

3. Contribution and positive cash flow responsibility: Ensure that the business contribution to the appropriate principal's business is profitable and cash positive as per the budget. Define a price strategy with the main team, then implement it in the appropriate regions. generating a backup in case of pricing changes. Keeping track of the commission percentage for orders received and the impact the principal's business makes to the company.

4. Competency development of sales team:

- Responsible for product presentations & sales handbook preparation.

- Train, analyze, and improve the sales team's proficiency in terms of business segment, principle, rivalry, and product technology updates.

5. Business development: Order win-loss analysis at the primary, product, and subsegment levels. Plan of action to regaining market share. acquisitions of new technologies and principals.

- Experience in textile mill(s) or with competition will be an added advantage

C. Metrics:

1. P&L and cash flow management for delegated principals.

2. Business unit principal satisfaction index.

3. Market research and business analysis. Expand your market share and reach.

4. Execution of the marketing and communication plan.

5. Coordination of new business, main, and product development.

6. The development of the sales team's technical expertise.
