General Description : - One of our Pharma client is looking to recruit a key member for its Strategy &amp; PMO office. The Strat &amp; PMO office is a key function that is being created to assist the CEO and senior management in designing initiatives for business growth, portfolio management, productivity growth and customer satisfaction. Career pathway for this role is to grow into as a leader heading an entire Business Unit or a key commercial function (like Business Development) depending on interest and capabilities. - Key responsibilities include Strategic Planning, building &amp; managing the Project Management Office and playing a key role in building the overall Organization. - Candidate in this role is expected to be self-driven with a focus on impact of each initiative and be flexible to work on any function such as manufacturing, procurement, and quality, as necessary. Primary responsibilities: Strategic Planning: - Create Annual and 3-year business plans &amp; convert them into quarterly Strategic Initiatives - Conduct idea generation workshops with key functions to identify ideas for throughput improvement - Conduct monthly portfolio discussions with senior management - Prepare a sharp set of initiatives to keep raising the bar on quality compliance across the various operations - (R&amp;D, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Packaging) Project Management Office: - Coordinate the execution with various functions; execution can be assisted by the CIT (Continuous Improvement Team) - Prepare and review annual and quarterly launch planning team for new products - Review R&amp;D progress &amp; productivity monthly - Establish a review and monitoring cadence for all strategic initiatives &nbsp;Organisation building: - Understand key talent gaps in the company through structured evaluation &nbsp;- Help strengthen various functions by helping senior management in recruitment initiatives Typical credentials: - Suitable experience and/or MBA from a top-tier business school - Experience in the pharma industry (preferable, not must) - Some prior consulting experience is preferred - About 6-10 years of total work experience - Experience in function that signals a self-starter attitude
