Job Description:

- Drive finance and accounting processes including preparation of trial balance, closure of books of accounts, reconciliations, billing and cash flow management to ensure timely closure of accounts as per accounting standards and compliances

1. Prepare monthly trial balance and consolidation of financial results/accounts-Ensure the timely preparation of the trial balance and consolidation of monthly financial results/accounts by collating data from various ledgers such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable etc.

- Ensure proper supervision of Tax (GST,IT, Custom duty etc) and timely payments along with its filing of returns

- Oversee validation of the information from independent sources such as tax calculations, bank statements etc. and ensures there is a reconciliation between the actual and the reported values

- Prepare trial balance related reports for the management meets and implements the actions suggested by the management

2. Report operational and consolidated financial statements to provide clarity on financial aspects of doing business-Prepare balance sheet/ income statement schedules and notes to accounts to ensure that all the financial reports are in line with the applicable norms

- Review financials including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows schedules on timely basis to maintain accuracy of reports

- Manage financial reporting process to ensure timely delivery of financial information to management, corporate, the board of directors and other relevant parties

3.Oversee account reconciliation to ensure correct reports with minimal errors-Verify the completeness of ledger entries by checking and cross checking the relevant ledgers for the accounting entries (e.g. exports ledger and AR ledger)

- Undertake trend analysis for revenue, margins, overheads, budget adherence, capital & operational expenditure

4.Perform cash flow management and banking operations to provide funds for sustenance of operations-Manage cash flow requirements and drive effective management funds

- Take inputs from various functions(Operations, Supply Chain Management and HR) on their fund requirements on a short-term and long-term basis; Periodically review and monitor fund inflow/outflow requirements

- Coordinate with management and various units for any emergency funds requirements or deployment cancellations and make suitable funds movement to optimize use of funds

- Liaise with banks on day to day basis

5. Ensure timely auditing of all statements and processes as per the statutory norms for

compliance-Manage timely completion of internal and statutory audit with zero audit observation for the books of accounts

- Improve and/or modify standard procedures

- Facilitate statutory audit process with necessary information and documentation and handle all accounts audit related queries

6. Undertake accounts payable to ensure timely payment of funds asper the services rendered-Perform timely processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner

- Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services and verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures

- Verify pay amounts as calculated and processed by the HR team and enter all payroll transaction information in the system

- Reconcile vendor statements, billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions, if any, and make corrections to ensure accurate statements

- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with accepted accounting practices and support in month end closing of accounts

7.Lead and develop a capable and motivated team to achieve better results-

- Lead the team in their day-to-day activities to ensure smooth business as usual

- Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent at senior positions within the function

- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team

- Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge

Experience: 10 to 20 years

Annual CTC: Rupees 30,00,000
