- Responsible for order fulfillment of Customers.
- Drafting a time scale for the job.
- Overseeing all operational matters including production process, drawing up a production schedule.
- Responsible for approval of daily manufacturing plans according to weekly manufacturing plans received from PPC
- Responsible for WIP management & accounting within cell.
- Ensure planned KPI's of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
- Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the company objectives
- Responsible for achieving targeted equipment utilization (O.E.E.).
- Responsible for achieving targeted labor productivity (Efficiency).
- Responsible for Delivery & Quality PPM at customer end as well as for in house.
- Responsible for control of manufacturing cost (Rework, Scrap, Labour, Tools & consumables) as per budgets
- Undertake initiatives for Operational Excellence
- Plant Layout and Capacity Planning
General Management:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identifies and addresses problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
- Ability to create and manage production / Operation budgets.
- Function level CAPA where necessary.
- Internal departmental reviews & Cell manufacturing reports
- Achieving Plant EBITDA.
- Recruitment / Approvals & Performance Counseling / Reviews for cell manufacturing staff & workers.
- Responsible for process signoffs along with NPD.
- Support in ensuring all statutory compliances for the cell.
- Responsible for maintenance of good IR within cell.- Coordinate, set up and implement SOP for all operations.
- Inventory Management (RM & WIP) & Capex Planning
- Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals.
- Ensure complete compliance to prescribed EHS, QMS, GMP's and 5S processes.
- Estimating costs and setting the quality standards.
- Planning & Organizing 70% Operational & 30 % Strategic
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
- Implement and drive continual improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Ensure coaching and development of resources to meet business's objectives.
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers & reviewing the performance of subordinates
