Warburttons a leadership search organisation is retained to identify experienced GM Planning and Budgeting for a leading real estate development organisation dedicated to delivering exceptional projects that redefine urban landscapes and enhance communities.

The General Manager of Planning and Budgeting will oversee the strategic planning, financial management, and project lifecycle of the real estate development projects. Leading a dedicated team, the GM will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of project activities from acquisition to handover. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of project finance, pre-construction, and post-construction activities.

As a GM Planning & Budgeting you will manage the below responsibility:

- Project planning: Develop initial project plan and Coordinate with Liaising team to identify timelines for getting pre-execution and post-execution approval. Estimate budgeted costs for project execution, revenue from project sales and RoI.

- Monitoring & Status Tracking: Develop and implement robust monitoring and tracking mechanisms for pre-construction and post-construction activities, including land acquisition, financial closures, and project handover.

- Budgeting and Financial Management: Lead the budgeting process for projects, preparing accurate and realistic budgets that align with project requirements and financial goals. Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenditures, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize project profitability.

- Coordination: Coordinate with project management companies to build module plan and Ensure compliance of module with project timelines and budgeted costs.

- Project Lifecycle Management: Assume overall responsibility for projects throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to handover, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, construction, legal, and marketing, to ensure seamless project delivery.

A successful applicant should have:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering

- Proven track record of 15 years of experience in project planning, financial management, and real estate development, with a focus on project lifecycle management.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, financial analysis techniques, and real estate market dynamics.

- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and develop innovative solutions.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
