General Manager Operations for SME
Job Description:
1. Managing routine operation of the company for its various functions namely:
a. Supply Chain
b. Design Engineering
c. Technical Development
d. MIS
e. Accounting and banking
f. HR & Admin
g. Business development in India
2. Budgeting and finance controls, approvals, policy decisions in consultation
3. Formulate a strategy with support from Parent company and plan growth.
4. Setting up policies and defining business processes.
5. Ensuring employees safety , retention and develop professionally.
6. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
7. Maintain work centers for employees
8. Manage the new business/s created or acquired in India:
a. Due diligence, negotiation, and acquisitions of businesses.
b. Review and reconstitute management structure and operation of each
c. Planning processes and routines to operate these entities through their management by developing routines and reviews
9. Statutory compliances through CA and secretary of all entities
10. Management reports on operation to Parent company
Requirements and skills:
- About 25 years of overall professional experience in engineering or manufacturing field with min 5yrs in general management
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving and multitasking
- Engineering Graduate / Should preferably possess MBA degree
- Location in Vadodara
- 30% Travel
