Job Title: General Manager Operations- National Head profile Reporting: VP Experience: 8+ Years Location: Gurgaon, Sector 21 Key Responsibilities: - Heading the overall warehouse operations of the company. - Excellent skills to run and manage multiple warehouse operations in a smooth & effective manner. - Proven work experience in a Leadership Position in warehouse management at pan India level. - Effectively managing a large team at the warehouse. - Responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for the Warehouse. - Ensure orders getting shipped out within defined SLA. - Coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations and build leadership bench strength. - Define the operational metrics, set up processes and systems to scale up business with the unwavering focus on operational efficiency and profitability. - Measure performance, provide feedback and hold Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. - Able to address operational and personnel issues affecting functional area. Desired Candidate Profile: - Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse operations. - Serving E-commerce clients would be added advantage. - Should have experience of modern warehouse and inventory practices. - Should have experience in B2B and B2C model. - Good computer skills, especially in using spread sheets, ability to use enterprise resource planning (ERP software) having facility of logistics / supply chain. - Ready to travel across centres as and when required. - Should have smart presentation skills, good analytical & logical ability. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams. - Should be enthusiastic to learn and a smart worker.
