Job Overview : The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operational management, leadership, and P&L for the company's Indian entity. He/she will be the point of contact for all major business activity in the assigned office. Roles & Responsibilities : - Overseeing employee productivity and performance while working collaboratively with department heads and the local Head of HR to drive a positive culture for the staff. - Working with the global leadership team to develop long-term strategies that promote organizational growth. - The formulation of local policy and processes, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance, working often in conjunction with the local department heads. - Monitoring team's vital factors and goals and suggest solutions and feedback for improvements across departments, including process improvement, communication and skill development. - Coordinating across functions and departments to drive global efficiencies - Planning, monitoring, and analyzing key metrics of the operation - Working closely with local finance teams to prepares budgets, schedules, forecasts, and other organizational reports as needed - Serve as liaison to India Board of Directors - Partnering with heads of HR and finance on the oversight of facilities and real estate. - Serving as the company's brand ambassador in local business and industry community. Eligibility : - 5+ years of experience managing operation of 20+ team members - 15+ years of overall work experience - Experience of owning the India operations for a global company - Experience: Working for a US/UK based company - Experience with a SaaS based company
