It offers revenue cycle management services, including patient registration, claims submission, medical coding, charge entry and cash posting, accounts receivables (A/R) denial management, and A/R collections and follow-up. JOB DESCRIPTION -&nbsp; ROLE SUMMARY -&nbsp; The General Manager - Coding will be part of a team that provides coding and auditing to hospital and physician clients regarding: ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and CPT coding; billing and regulatory compliance; healthcare reimbursement methodologies; ICD-10-CM/PCS assessments and training. RESPONSIBILITIES -&nbsp; - Plan, organize, and monitor all coding operations - Conduct APC and DRG coding quality and compliance risk assessments for hospitals and physician practices - Assist in coding audits, coder education, project management and client services - Maintain knowledge of coding and billing requirements and regulatory changes and act as a resource to colleagues and clients - Proficient in current PC applications and systems e.g. Word, Excel - Ability to analyze, investigate and organize ideas in recognizing, defining and formulating solutions to problems - Ability to effectively interface with all levels of coding and auditing personnel (internal / external) and customers - Work with process reengineering and MIS team to identify and automate repetitive tasks - Should assist with building training programs - Actively participate in all companywide initiatives REQUIRED SKILLS : - Must be CCS / CPC certified - Must have worked on Facility coding operations (IP DRG, ED, ER, SDS) - Must have handled multiple clients and teams - Must have worked in multi-specialty projects 14 - 18 yrs experience - In-depth technical knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, CPT coding conventions, DRG and APC assignment, medical terminology and anatomy and physiology - Should possess excellent communication skills COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND OTHER REQUISITES -&nbsp; - Excellent written and spoken English - Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills - Confident, amicable and ability to persuade and influence - Unflinching integrity and personal work ethics - Self-starter with the ability to lead and own projects end to end - Attention to detail and concern for accuracy - Effective balance between break-through creativity and compliance for company processes - Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking ability - Suitable candidates may contact Rohan Verma Multivision HR Network
