GM - Mechanical/Utility Maintenance - Process Plants


The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for India, Bangalore and SriLanka plant maintenance with experience in Centrifugal Multistage Compressor (6OK to 2 or 3 lakhs Cubic Metric per Hour & 5 to 3O MW power single equipment)

The person will be reporting to South Asia Operations Head

Designation: GM

Job location: Kolkata or Bangalore

Required Skill:

- Multiple Compressor handling experience,

- Oversee the entire mechanical engineering operations and maintenance, repairs,

- Plan, organize and schedule mechanical maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of industrial equipment, machinery, and overall plant,

- Foster a safe and healthy occupational environment where safety precautions are followed at all times,

- Make sure all machinery is set up and installed correctly while paying attention to occupational safety of everyone involved

- Liaise between engineers and other technicians at unit and ensure the total team gives their best efforts by providing purpose, direction, and motivation

- Proactively identify, analyse, and monitor recurring mechanical issues so that they can be resolved on time

- Prepare and present progress updates to management Heads and other relevant stakeholders on a regular basis Recommend technological developments and improvements in efficiency,

- Sound Knowledge of Maintenance with team lead capability ,

- Comfortable with travelling,

- Excellent in Verbal and Written English

Education: A Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience in Gas Industry or relevant,
