You'll have direct accountability for our growth numbers and will be responsible for delivering ambitious targets that drive our revenue strategy. The role is both strategic and hands on - we- re a small, tight-knit team of cross-functional experts, ready to pitch in to do whatever needs doing to get the job done. Expect to be moving at a fast pace, developing long-term plans whilst implementing robust growth initiatives.

We are looking for a multi-talented, creative and commercial leader who is naturally inquisitive and highly effective in daily work. You'll be excited about building a category defining brand presence as preeminent logistics and partner for the world of freight forwarders and shippers.

You will have experience delivering marketing growth in a start-up environment for great B2B service companies, with the customer at the heart of everything. You- ll also have the chance to help define company's market position in international market as the digital leader in the LCL space.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Be a brand custodian and ensure sanctity of the brand across all channels and collaterals

- Drive brand affinity through activation of global and local sponsorships, events and expos, online and offline media campaigns, relationships with logistics publications and portals, social media platforms and service experience

- Plan, Manage & Execute - Multi-channel campaigns with great focus on product narrative and positioning, customer lifecycle multi-channel partnerships and organic website growth

- Use competitor analysis and market trend information to develop marketing and product strategy

- Develop the annual, quarterly and seasonal marketing agenda - what we are saying, to who, and how we are saying it

- Collaborate with global and regional counterparts for inputs to customize country-wise marketing

- Stay abreast with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and influence the early adoption of such practices that are likely to benefit the organization, especially on the digital front

- Lead the design and delivery of an exceptional customer experience for logistics - consumer side

- Design marketing strategy to drive demand across channels and strategies, raise product and brand awareness to existing and new targets in the regions to generate leads and opportunities into the sales pipeline

- Day-to-day management of campaigns including coordinating creative production with agency partners for marketing material and content and overall budget management

- Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing through email, content and media

- Drive digital leadership through Search Marketing (Search Advertising & Optimisation, familiarity with Google Ads) and Content Marketing (Creation and distribution strategies through blogs, social media, email marketing etc., familiarity with Google Analytics)

- Drive business growth through revenue and lead generation initiatives from digital (influencers, Google, Facebook, DBM, other networks) and other lead sources.

- Support revenue growth plans with integrated marketing programs and retail campaigns.

- Contribute to building a strong employer brand for ECU externally and support internal digital transformation initiatives

Additional Responsibilities :

- Budget Management: Manage the annual marketing budget effectively to ensure maximum ROI

- Planning & Reporting: Ensure visibility on progress of KPIs through the year to senior management and key stakeholders

- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with regional sales teams for relevant inputs, procurement, finance and legal teams on negotiation of new vendor contracts, budget management, payments etc., and other functional departments to educate or brief all relevant teams on new campaigns through various internal resources and channels before launch

- People Management: Develop a high performance culture, develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance, and manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to assist in the achievement of global, regional and country objectives and targets

Desired Candidate's Profile:

- Post-graduate degree with a confident personality and a pleasing disposition

- 12 - 15 years in Marketing and Ideally 5 years' experience in managing digital marketing specifically

- Should have worked in a high intensity workplace

- Enjoys multi-tasking

- Good business and financial acumen

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Flexible, smart with strong analytical and presentation skills

- Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment

- Ability to think through and articulate
