- Developing marketing strategies to build consumer preference and drive volumes, evaluating marketing budgets periodically including manpower planning initiatives and ensuring adherence to planned expenses
- Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves to achieve market share metrics, also evolving market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets
- Exploring business potential, opportunities & clientele to secure profitable business volumes; designing & implementing marketing plans for augmenting the business volume by enhancing brand visibility & recall
- Driving sales initiatives to achieve business goals & guiding the frontline sales team, dealers, distributors, area managers and conducting competitor analysis by keeping a close view of market trends to achieve metrics
- Framing strategies for establishing greater awareness about company & its products; building brand focus in conjunction with operational requirements
- Monitoring monthly new product launch results and recommending action for addressing any forecasted variances to volume budget
- Establishing own goals and of the team to match corporate goals, short term and long term budgets and developing business plans for the achievement of these goals
- Networking with media personnel, evaluating new communication media from time to time and effectively adopting the same
- Coordinating with advertising, PR and digital agencies for developing communication plans based on specific media objectives and evaluating results post-release for improvement in subsequent plans
- Handling appropriate media selection for advertising new campaigns
