General Manager Legal - Merger & Acquisition

Qualifications : BA / B. com + LLB / LLM

Good to have qualifications : CS / MBA

- Good exposure to various deal documentation like NDA, term sheets, SHA, SPA, SSA

- Ability to draft / review / finalize deal documentation

- Good commercial acumen with ability to understand the linkages between business needs / commercial implications with legal positions

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Proven oral and written communication skills

- Ability to take positions / defend / convince others on tricky deal issues

- Past experience of working on M&A deals and fund-raising deals

- Prior experience of conducting / coordinating / reviewing legal due diligences and converting the LDD matters into deal documentation

- Good understanding of various regulations / laws like Company law, FEMA, SEBI guidelines, listing provisions, etc.

- Good relationships and networks with external national / regional law firms like AZB, CAM, SAM, ALMT , Trilegal etc.

- Good knowledge of word, ppt and document management tools
