General Manager - Legal - LLB/LLM - Real Estate

About the Role :

- Commercial Contract Management (Negotiation, Review & Development) which includes Leasing & Maintenance Contracts, Service Agreements, Vendor Agreements.

- Liaise with Regulatory Departments to ensure compliance with Land Acquisitions, Title clearances, Shop & Establishment, etc.

- Documentation & co-ordination with the Company appointed Solicitors, Lawyers and provides day to day updates of legal affairs to the Management and maintain legal MIS on Company portal timely.

- Drafting different kind of Pleadings, MOU, Agreements, Contracts, Legal Notices, Complaint, FIR, Show Cause Notice, Written Statements, Written version, etc.

- Prepare Lease / Leave & License / Maintenance Agreement / Franchise Agreement / Business conduct agreement/ Distributorship agreement / Maintenance agreement / Shop in Shop agreement / Vendor agreement, etc.

- Complete pending purchase agreements and create closing checklists for all real estate/Retail sales.

- Good understanding of global legal norms

- Coordination within all Departments like Human Resource Department, Administration, Accounts, Marketing, etc. for due compliance with legal requirements as per check list for maintaining the operation smoothly and mitigate the chances of litigation.

- Adept in evaluating the findings, developing strategies & arguments in preparation for presentation of cases and examining legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting law suits.

- Stakeholder's management including Controller, CEO and various legal authorities.

Required :

- LLB / LLM with a minimum of 10 to 18 years of relevant experience in Real Estate (Must have)

- Good Communication skills (Must have)

- Knowledge of Kannada (Read, Write, Speak) (Must Have)
