General Manager - IT/Internet of Things  Location - Mumbai   Experience - 10 to 14 years   Reporting to VP IT  Job requirements which is specifically Process Control / MES related   Qualification - M.Tech & MBA - mandatory   - Manufacturing related experience is must considering the importance of IOT / Industry 4.0 & expectations from GIT to play a role in facilitating in the Company  - To plan and provide direction to group businesses / unit in deployment of Manufacturing Execution System tools, Sustainability Information management tools, Supply Chain Visibility tools, Enterprise Asset Integration tools, which enable the plants to run efficiently thereby improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness, which comprise of throughput, quality, availability.The MES tools include, Manufacturing dashboards, process data historians, advanced process controls, LIMS, Middleware layer, etc.in order to enable shop-floor to top floor integration.  - To Leadand manage implementations of Sustainability solutions, both technically and functionally within the Group in the areas of Energy & Carbon Management, Safety Management, Incident management, Health Management Performance Management, etc.  - To lead and implement Internet of Things (IoT) and related technologies. The IoT tools should include - sensorization, data aggregation, storage and use of Analytics to derive business value in the areas of Predictive Maintenance, Energy Management, Quality, Operational Efficiencies and Safety / Environment, and various other initiatives related to the businesses.  - The above involve playing the role of Solution Architect, Program Manager and Consultant, with technical and functional expertise and becoming business partner to successfully implement world class practices and realize the benefits from the identified initiatives. thus achieving group synergy, institutionalize systems, and sustenance of systems, incorporating best practices.
