Job Title : General Manager- IT

Department: IT

Reporting to: Directors

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

- Defining IT Organization, Vision and goals in short to long term

- Define the technical requirements for new and existing services.

- Ensure the continued scalability of the platform by identifying potential bottlenecks at an early stage, re factoring existing features where needed and making sure new features scale horizontally.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.

- Participate in strategy planning and annual budgeting involving estimation, forecast & Compliance for IT function in collaboration with senior leadership

- Develop and Design future state value stream map for IT operations.

- Taking lead in putting relevant technology solutions in Finance, Human Resources and other integrated applications

- Developing integrated network access and monitoring policies

- Manage the office IT environment

- Monitor application performance and review application failures.

- Ensure technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.

- Define the development and deployment annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.

- Supervise recruitment, training, retention and organization of technical staff.

- Effectively manage IT teams including ones positioned at various Locations Pan India

Desired Candidate Profile:

- University degree in the field of computer science/ BE and a management degree

- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Keen attention to detail. Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
