General Manager - Information Technology - FMCG

Role Purpose: Create, Manage & enhance the applications landscape in the areas of Retail, IT infra, BI and enterprise applications function.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Work with IT Leader for application in the mentioned application instances and integrations for the same in IT landscape.

- Establish and maintain IT governance structure with Retail, IT infra, BI and enterprise applications process owners to manage IT operations, resolve problem statements and prioritize enhancement requests in support of organizations strategic direction after the platform is live.

- Ensure that the systems under the responsibilities meet the SLAs and are stable and serves the purpose in minimal costs.

- Contribute to organizations IT strategy by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.

- Leverage, recommend and implement solutions & enhancements whenever deemed fit and provide training to relevant teams where necessary.

- Accountable for delivery of applications or technology in time & budgets.

- Lead and manage team implementing business process improvements and implementing SAP MM systems

- Work with business teams to identify gap areas and jointly work on implementation of solutions and SAP modules

- Work business stakeholders and end-users to determine the functional requirements for the system within the SAP MM module

- Create detailed systems documentation, test scripts, and presentations

- Leverage business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement

- Configure the SAP MM system to meet the business requirements and conduct solution architecting workshops with business managers

- Design and development of interfaces and conversion programs to/from existing legacy systems

- Provide general technical support in MM business systems analysis for our clients and conduct SAP training as required for client personnel

- Define and develop best practices, solution demonstrations, and functional configurations within business

- Establish budget with user approval and monitor actual charges in line with work performed. Accountable to operate within annual budget.

Must have experience of handling IT team working in General Trade and Modern Trade kind of B2C environment.

Salary Bracket: 30 - 40 LPA
