About Our Client

Our client is an is an award-winning, independent, global premium drinks company, with an enviable performance record. Recognized as a sector leader, they have a diverse portfolio of premium products, distilling some of the world’s favorite Scotch whisky brands.

With an employee friendly culture, they are currently looking for a General Manager to lead the India operations.

Job Description

Reporting into the Head of India, Middle East and Africa, you will be responsible for

- Defining and leading the strategy of the organization.

- Recommending growth strategic partnerships

- Delivering the route to market strategy.

- Defining the brand portfolio and overseeing the development of the same.

- Managing local relationships with the regulatory authorities.

- Building and developing relationships with key accounts.

- Leading, resourcing and mentoring the India team.

The Successful Applicant

You will have an MBA in marketing from a top tier B-School, with at least 12 + years of sales and marketing experience. You should have excellent experience in handling a P&L. Prior experience of working in the Alcohol/ FMCG industry is a must. The incumbent must have a proven track record of building branded businesses and experience in driving strategic initiatives within the organization. In addition you would have exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the proven ability to drive/ motivate teams.
