Responsibilities
- Responsible for healthy P&L of Pune centre, people management and delivery management
- Delivery of the software projects with healthy margins, quality and on time delivery as agreed with customers.
- High degree of customer satisfaction through effective client engagement, project management, and quality delivery within committed timelines.
- Ensure billable utilization of the FTE resources as agreed and optimum utilization of all the team members
- Responsible to build and grow high performance team, coaching and mentoring the team.
- Participate in global and strategic decisions and implement global initiatives in Pune centre
- Bring in the effectiveness and innovation in the delivery processes to meet the desired set of targets for productivity, quality and client satisfaction.
- Drive the continuous improvement program to bring in improvements in the delivery and project life cycle.
- Participate in steering committee to review the project status. Oversee the project charter, deliverables, governance approach and overall project schedule/timeline to take corrective actions if required.
- Conduct step-back reviews for PMs and technical manager/architects fortnightly. Review project metrics and take corrective/preventive actions in timely manner.
- Provide the direction and support to the local management team to achieve their goals and objectives.
- Responsible for legal, administrative compliance and all communications with local partners, vendors.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing the software delivery organization and minimum 15+ years of valid work experience in global software companies
- Should have managed a team of minimum 100+ engg in global software companies
- Must have global experience, international work experience and exposure to onsite-offshore model
- Should demonstrate excellent skills in people management, delivery management and business management
- Very good communicator, people manager, and visionary leader
- Preferred education is engineering and business management qualification with flying colors
- Work exposure to eCommerce domain would be an added advantage
Measurable / Key Performance Criteria
- Achieve budgeted net margins targets
- Achieve customer satisfaction targets as measured by monthly customer feedback
- Achieve billable utilization targets for billable resource team
- Achieve delivery quality metrics as defined
- Drive global initiatives like cross centre program along with Sofia centre
Location/ travel required
- Based in Pune office
- Travel to other offices and client sites to the UK and internationally should be expected.
