- Develop and implement strategies to maintain positive employee relations and manage any issues that arise effectively.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, handling any legal or disciplinary matters with proficiency.

- Proactively address any potential conflicts or disputes to maintain a harmonious work environment

- Oversee the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and lead the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent.

- Implement robust performance management systems to drive employee engagement, development, and retention.

- Manage succession planning and talent development initiatives to nurture a pipeline of future leaders within the organization

- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.

- Ensure the implementation and application of agreed upon Company HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs and strive for best practices in the standardization, harmonization and alignment of local HR activities, but always with the business requirements in mind.

- Support line managers in communicating HR issues properly to employees and employees' representatives by means of standard instruments.

- Counsel and support business managers in the resolution of specific individual local HR issues, e.g. disciplinary actions incl. face-to-face meetings with managers/employee/works' council representatives, application of early retirement programs with execution of individual cases, lay-off employees incl. negotiation of severance payments.

Qualifications:

- Master's Business Administration, or related field

- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a Industrial / Employee relations

- Fluent with Gujarati (preferred). Should have experience working in a Plant Setup.

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with stakeholder management.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Experience working in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
